He started his career in orchestras such as the Staatskapelle Dresden and the Hamburg Philharmonics.

2016 he quit playing orchestra to concentrate on performing internationally as soloist and chamber musician.

For the last few years he has given his solo career a higher priority and is - besides various other projects - currently producing a cycle of 6 films presenting the 6 Suites by Johann Sebastian Bach in 6 different stunning cathedrals in Germany and will release a CD of all Beethoven sonatas recorded in the famous Koethen palace.
